Key Designs was formed in 2008 to provide a service often overlooked in the ever-expanding world of code-compliant new construction. With the introduction and subsequent adoption of the International Code Council's building codes and the coming green codes, it will be more difficult for Home Builders, Remodelers, and especially Homeowners to continue building projects in the same manner as in years past. Building Permit applications are being increasingly scrutinized while design and construction standards are constantly evolving. New codes for energy-efficiency and sustainable design are on the way, and companies not versed in these changes may experience unnecessary cost increases having to redesign exsting plans or re-scope existing projects to keep up.

Our experience not only includes residential designs for all manner of home ammenities such as finished basements, attached or detached garages, small additions and outdoor living spaces-- but also includes large scale additions and renovations and complete new custom home designs for projects from 2000 square feet to upwards of 11,000 square feet. Additionally, Key Designs has something most other Designers and Architects lack-- extensive hands-on experience in almost every trade involved in building a new home. Both of these homes were designed and built by Key Structures Corp., a precursory company to what is today, Key Designs LLC. Gallery 3 shows some of the homes by Key Designs' Chief Designer during the previous ten years. To put it all together, Key Designs uses state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and professional printing equipment and we provide timely and expeditious service.
